It's also light, making it easy to move around the house during naps and when traveling.
It's made of soft materials and features mesh sides that are breathable to help promote airflow. It's available in oak and charcoal and has a variety of melange fabrics that blend well with most decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when attached to her bed, with the legs securely snapping into the bed and the zips secured for baby-safety. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video or support number available if you run into any problems.

It can even be converted into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. While it will not feed your baby or magically sleep them, it will rock them to send them off!

This is one of Chicco's more expensive alternatives. However, it has numerous excellent features. It's designed to function as an individual side sleeper or standalone crib and is suitable from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel using the new mechanism. It is also more adjustable than the previous model, with 11 different height settings and legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.
Our testers loved the easy access to the side panel, which can be flipped up and down by pressing a button. This was especially helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick their baby up without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be removed by itself, too however it isn't advised as it increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only remain in place if it is connected to the bed properly. This feature can be very beneficial to have peace of mind when you are breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.
Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers. Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it comes with an extensive instruction manual. It's also small enough to fit into a travel bag when not in use which is a plus if you need to transport it. The only downside our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex like some of the other models, which made it a little harder to observe your child from your bed.
